Shoebox season is right around the corner! Not sure what that is? Every year we pack shoebox gifts to bless children in need around the world through Operation Christmas Child.
Take advantage of Back to School sales to stock up on items to include in the Christmas Shoeboxes! Examples include crayons, pencils, pens, notebooks, etc.
Shoeboxes will be collected on November 12th and 19th, and we'll dedicate them on November 19th.

1st Pres Sports Club kicks off Friday, September 15th here at the church. Children of all ages (and their families and friends) are invited!
September will feature a Fall Picnic (hot dogs, chips, snacks, drinks & ice pops). Come out for lawn games, minute to win it challenges, and contests (hot dog eating, bubble gum blowing & pie eating).
Other events for this Fall are a bingo night on October 20th and our annual Christmas Party on December 16th. Mark your calendars!
Young Lives is a ministry that supports teenage parents, and it meets right here in our building. Between Mother's and Father's Days we had our annual loose change (gathered in baby bottles) fundraiser for this important ministry.
The final tally is $521.63. A profound THANK YOU to this congregation for their generosity in taking care of the unborn, little babies, and their parents!
